Green Chemistry
At Metapol we embrace the philosophy of Green Chemistry, which sets rigorous standards for the research and production of chemical substances and processes. This methodology seeks to maximise benefits whilst minimising harmful side effects on people and the environment. Green Chemistry is essential to ensure that future chemicals, materials and energy sources are sustainable and environmentally friendly.
Our certifications
ISO 14001-2015
The balance between the environment, society and the economy is crucial for Metapol. In addition to participating in environmental excellence programs, we have maintained ISO 14001 certification since 2013 to ensure that our processes and products are environmentally friendly, comply with current regulations and support sustainability.
ISO 45001- 2018
We value human talent highly, which is why we guarantee a safe and healthy work environment. We maintain certification in occupational health and safety management with OHSAS 18001 until 2021 and with ISO 45001 since 2020, to identify and eliminate hazards, reduce risks and prevent injuries and health problems.
ISO 9001-2015
At Metapol, we have maintained quality management system (QMS) certification since 1998, adapting it to international updates. This has continuously improved our performance, ensuring compliance with stakeholder expectations with a focus on processes and risks. In 2024, we are incorporating climate change into the system to support sustainable development.
PWC Opinion
Mutual trust is key to our philosophy, and our code of ethics reflects this in our relationships with stakeholders. That is why we ensure that our Financial Accounting Management System (SACOFI) receives a positive opinion in financial statement audits, endorsed by the internationally recognized firm PWC.
Tlaxcala Award for Competitiveness
The Government of the State of Tlaxcala grants this award to recognize companies that demonstrate excellence and a strong commitment to their management models, as well as their ability to take advantage of opportunities in a competitive environment.
